Stars @ Atlanta Dream, 7/18 Game Recap

The San Antonio Stars fell to the Atlanta Dream 88-75 in Tuesday morning’s road game at the McCamish Pavilion.
Isabelle Harrison led the Stars with 22 points and nine rebounds, while Alex Montgomery scored 10 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
Sequoia Holmes came off the bench to score a career-high 13 points.
The game went back-and-forth from the onset, as the Stars led after the first quarter and took a 39-37 lead into halftime. The Dream, however, grabbed the momentum in the third quarter and never looked back.
Tiffany Hayes scored a game-high 25 points for the Dream, and Sancho Lytle corralled a game-high 10 rebounds. Atlanta had four other players reach double-figures in scoring, including Brittney Sykes, who scored 20 points and made 9-of-10 free throw attempts.
Tuesday marked the end of the Stars’ three-game road stand and San Antonio returns to the AT&T Center for three consecutive home games, starting on Thursday, July 20, against the Indiana Fever. Opening tip is scheduled for 7 p.m. Click here to purchase tickets.
